Charles River Laboratories Research Animal Diagnostic Services offers assays and products designed for accurate and reliable laboratory animal testing. Our highly-qualified professional staff and technicians will assist you in monitoring and analyzing the health and genetics of animal models used in your research facilities.

The Diagnostic Services staff includes veterinarians and PhD’s specializing in laboratory animal medicine, virology, microbiology, molecular biology, and pathology. In addition to providing timely service, our technical staff is available to work closely with you to assist in managing your laboratory animal colony health programs.
Our diagnostic assays are developed and validated to detect problematic agents based on their scientific relevance in the laboratory research field. Our assays are continuously refined and rigorous controls are employed to ensure the highest quality results possible. At your request, most of our testing procedures can be performed according to GLP specifications.
Our laboratory automation and computerized Internet Laboratory Information Management System (ILIMS) allow us to process samples quickly, accurately, and economically. Results may be viewed on-line and/or received via email, fax, or hard copy.
