Laboratory Animal Pathology Services
Our Pathology Services focus on diagnosis of infectious disease for laboratory animals, whether they are in your facility or ours. Investigations are individually designed for each customer’s experimental or health monitoring protocol and are directed by board-certified veterinary pathologists.
Our GLP and non-GLP capabilities include:
- Pathology analysis in support of routine Health Monitoring of laboratory animal colonies
- Diagnostic pathology to investigate unexpected research results or to verify suspected infectious disease conditions
- Pathology as part of phenotypic characterization of genetically- and surgically - modified animals and other mutants

Clinical pathology allows researchers to gain valuable insight concerning drug toxicology, disease progression, and causative relationships.
Customized pathological evaluations are performed as part of the routine animal colony surveillance for the diagnosis of disease and for experimental research protocols.

Necropsy - a complete post-mortem examination of the animal

Histopathology - slide preparation using routine and special staining techniques with evaluation by board-certified veterinary pathologists
